WRITING 7: A PROFILE OF A BAND

Simple Plan was formed in Montreal (Canada) in 1999. The original members were Pierre, Philippe Chuck and Adrian White and they were called Reset. Later they met new friends at the high school and finally he formed the band Simple plan with modifications in the members of the band: Pierre, who is the voice; Chuck, who plays the drums; David, who is second voices and plays the bass; Sebastien; who plays second voices and the guitar and finally Jeff, who plays the electric guitar. The songs are written by all the members but especially by the singer.
In 2002 Simple Plan released their first album: No pads, No helmets... just balls. But heir best-known album is Simple Plan. The best song for me is When I’m Gone and Untitled. and their best hit was and still is When I’m gone.
Simple Plan plays punk, rock and power pop music.
They have been nominated by the MTV award for the best song but they haven’t won any. They have only won two music videos awards. I think that they could win more prizes because they’re really good musicians.
