LOVEBIRDS :)

1) INTRODUCTION.
Ok, let's get started. Good morning everybody. My name is Mariona and I'm a student at Casa Nostra School. Today I want to talk about one type of birds: lovebirds. I have had one at home for six years. First I will give a general explanation of them and then I'll tell you some species. I hope that you like it very much.
2) GENERAL EXPLANATION.
Lovebirds are very sociable and affectionate small parrots. They're native to Africa, and they live in small flocks. They eat fruit, vegetables, grasses and seed. They live about 10 to 15 years.
Lovebirds are 13 to 17 cm long and their weight is approximately 40 and 60 grams. Generally they’re mostly green with a variety of colors on their body but there are different species that are different colors. They're vocal birds and very active. They don’t talk but they make very noisy and loud sounds.

3)THREE SPECIES.

1-Yellow-collared Lovebird: This type of lovebirds are from Tanzania. They’re 14 (centimitres) long. Most of them have a green anb black head with yellow collar.
2-Fischer's Lovebird: This type of lovebirds are from Tanzania too, specially from Lake Victoria. They’re 14 cm long too, and they’re green with different types of colors in the body.
3-Rosy-faced Lovebird: This are from South Africa. They’re bigger than the others: they’re 15 cm long. They’re green and their face is orange.

4) CONLUSION.
To finish I'd like to say that lovebirds are nice birds and they're very happy birds. I think that they’re a good pet and a very beautiful birds, I hope that you like it.
